Develop a live-action version of Shazam! The film begins in the early 2000s, but stagnates for years in the limbo of development. The film began pre-production in 2008, with director Peter Segal and screenwriter John August also involved in the film's pre-production, and Dwayne Johnson was once considered to play the villain Black Adam, but the production failed.
