The film will be released worldwide on November 16, 2018.
Set in 1927, at the end of the first film, months after newt reveals the true face of the dark wizard gellert grindelwald, the stage moves from New York to London and then to Paris. The wizarding world is getting darker, and the fleeing grindelwald has brought more of them into the fold. What might have stopped him was his closest friend albus dumbledore, who needed help from his student newt. Eventually dumbledore and newt joined forces against grindelwald.
